Play Spider Solitaire with the rules at hand

Choose a round of Spider Solitaire and settle into its rules. Complete eight same-suit king-to-ace runs. Look at what changes after your first action. Check the rule that explains your first action. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Two decks, one/two/four suits; fill every column before a ten-card stock deal. Free solo play, no wagering.

Bring this focus to a round

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your objective

Complete eight same-suit king-to-ace runs. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Making your moves

  1. Build down by rank. Only descending same-suit groups move together. Empty columns accept any movable group.
  2. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
  3. Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Input guidance

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.

See the idea in action

A mixed-suit descending stack cannot move as one group. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Keep the controls nearby.

Pay attention to this rule

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
